Planner 5D - Classic App Reviews

Just as the title indicates a lot of talk no punch. There is no roof, there are light appliances but no lighting so you have a dull monatone image, no shade or shadows of any kind, as been lead to believe by the images presented. To make matters worst the help icon doesnt work. Dont know if its a bug or not. One thing is for sure, not worth buying.

hallo I was bought this apps but how to make the roof ? its confusing, please add more .. thank you

You can’t change to sq ft which most houses are designed in (not sq mt). You can’t add a simple wall. Didn’t even get past the first room. so annoyed I paid money for this.

I’ve been waiting for a long time for OsX version of Planner5d. Great productivity tool!

Falls down without saving...

I love design software, and have been buying for decades, however receintly I decided to go Apple systems, they are great, and needed a design software. So I downloaded this garbage of a software efter seeing thier (alleged renderings, under design ideas) hahah, nothing like it,this crapy program is jercky to work with, limited and limiting, a total waste of time, they guys that porportedly sell the program should be ashamed of showing their face here. What a monumental piece of crap….. buy and you will return it… shame of these 5d guys, just another creepy company scaming and wastng time my opinion

I’ve Planner 5D on my iPad and on a web - finally it is on MacOs. Great application for home planning indeed! Simple and easy! Best recommendations! Waiting for cloud compatibility with other versions!

So many things wrong, it just isn’t ready for release. Can’t reliably use Save (can use Save As). Random walls appear. Terrible to use Magic Mouse as it just skips around zooming in and out. The Undo / Redo buttons are the worst - if you make a mistake and hit “undo” it randomly connects and moves walls around. Can’t draw single walls, must draw a room and shrink to wall size. If your house has a basement, draw that first because you can’t reorder floors once they are created. Can’t rename rooms. The application is just not ready for 1.0 release.

This app crashes all the time. Often times when it does, you lose all of your work. Save As often. No ability to create roof lines or ceilings. Take the time to learn better software or grab a pencil and paper. If you’re looking for a long procrastinating day, this can be a fun waste of time. I’ve found it mostly unhelpful and frustrating.

I’ve been working with a free online tool and was able to easily create room designs, layouts using updated furnishings and textiles. Only problem is that it was an online tool and I needed something for offline use. I decided to breakdown and buy an app and selected this one. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED and wish I could have my $20 back! It is hard for me to create the dismensions of the rooms acurately since I am unable to adjust the wall thickness. Also, it’s very difficult to change flooring options when you have a room with two different types of floors. You can’t create a room with an opening in the wall… only an arch. The ‘painting options are so outdated and finicky. Definitely not worth the money!

I used this app for several days without problem and then it suddenly crashed and lost all my work and existing projects. Be warned!

It no longer lets me adjust the size of the walls. What good is it if I cant make the dimensions the way I want them. It worked when I first got it, but not any longer. There is no update or support, so I just lost my money.

Just crashed after almost done with my project, this application cashed and lost all my data, and 1 hour of my time!! dont feel confident using it again,

Awful. Crashed in the middle of a project, lost everything I had worked for.

I love this app. I am currently using to design my shipping container house. It is not perfect and I hope the developer does not quit perfecting it. For the price it is everything I need at this stage. The person who said it no longer lets them adjust the size of the walls needs to learn to use it. There is a button to click to freeze the walls so you don’t accidentally move them. They clicked the button and just need to go unclick it. For the person who said they can only put in arched openings, you have not figured it out yet. Keep playing with it and you will see that you can create openings. I did have the app crash once when I was at flying and could possibly have lost internet connection. Maybe there is a glitch to cause it to crash but I have only experienced that at 30,000 ft. Can’t wait to see revisions and improvements and additions. I’m definnitely a fan!

Absolutely garbage. Spent $20 for an app that doesn’ have a simple way to open on your laptop, once you done working on your iPad? Little heads up would be nice. I want my money back!
